I didn’t meet Kate online, but I also did not meet Trevor online, because the internet did not exist. I’m so grateful to have him as a best man.” -Seamus

“Adonna and I met through a mutual friend at a birthday party and a few weeks later she was planning my 30th! The universe decided that just being best friends wasn’t enough for us and we got to live our Monica/Rachel dreams as neighbors in Georgetown. Just like Monica and Rachel, we found our dream guys - and today we get to plan our weddings together instead of birthday parties!” - Kate

“My friendship as Mike has been a series of ‘do it for the plot’ ideas - whether we were booking concert tickets or airplane tickets we always seem to find an adventure. “My oldest friend, I truly don’t remember life without Jenny (sorry, you’ll never be Jen to me). Jenny and I have been best friends since we were 9 years old. We survived the awkward middle school years together and were cheerleaders side by side under the Friday night lights at Rye High. Jenny even taught me how to drive! I’m so blessed to have grown into women together and be celebrating this next season of life with her by my side.” -Kate

“No one asked for my opinion, but I think everyone should have to learn to spell and pronounce “Aoibhinn.” she and I were thick as thieves throughout childhood, and I was fortunate to tag along on many of the Nyhan family’s vacations, where I got to practice some interesting things like normalcy and social interaction. I’ve always admired Aoibhinn’s commitment to service and family, and I continue to look up to her to this day. We’re so happy to have her as part of our wedding and our life!” - Seamus

“If disappointing Sinead was an olympic sport, my medal count would be staggering. My de factor older sister—as well as Aoibhinn’s actual older sister—she has seen me through thick and thin (see: my thick skull and thin skin). Watching her start her own family and career in anesthesiology has been an inspiration. I do not think that my career as a recreational anesthesiologist set the same positive example. However, I’m so grateful that she continues to tolerate me, and that we get to have her in our wedding and our life.!” - Seamus

“Sarah and I were randomly paired up in a tiny cell - I mean dorm - at Providence College as Freshmen in August 2011. We made the most of the bar scene and the least of the library and somehow both managed to graduate (eventually). In college, Sarah and I used to pretend to be british twins after a few dollar shots and jungle juice… and people believed us! Ask her to do her British accent for you. I can’t wait to graduate from fiancée to wife with her by my side, too!” - Kate

“I met Ben in the gator pits of the Florida panhandle. He sure knew how to manhandle those slippery bastards. That’s why he’s the bouncer for this event.” - Seamus

“I met Ben when he moved here from New York and needed help designing his new condo (and a car to pick up all his furniture). We had a great time shopping for furniture and our friendship continued to grow from there. Ben is one of my best friends and his condo still looks amazing.” - Kate

“Frannie came into my life through a friend of a friend of a friend (or something like that) and quickly we cut out the middlemen and she became one of my best friends. After a lot of retail therapy over boys that weren’t worth the tears… eventually Frannie was with me the first time I ever noticed Séamus and we both giggled as I slid into his DMs. She’s seen us go from strangers to dating to fiancés and soon a married couple!” -Kate

“Emily is one of my dearest friends and it’s been an honor to grow so close over the last few years. Emily has taught me so much about self love and the power of authenticity. Whether we were hosting cozy “family dinners,” or watching hallmark Christmas movies starring Gretchen Wieners and a hot snowman, or seeing college bands just because we wanted to check out a venue, or driving hours for Alanis, my heart is full thinking of every memory with her. I can’t imagine my wedding without her.” - Kate

Paul is my favorite cousin, even though he nicknamed me “Lunchmeat,” and then revised it—after my mother misremembered the word order— to ”Meatlunch.” Paul is an amazing political scientist, he’s just not a very good person. If I had to bet on one person to ruin this event, it would be whomever he bribes to ruin this event. I am really grateful to have Paul in the wedding party, because deep down, I love him dearly—and also I have an insatiable thirst for chaos.” - Seamus
